*Krashaw: A region of frozen wastes, home to  the disparate barbarian tribes of northern Enroth. The Krashaw barbarians have remained de-facto independent since the [[First War of Enrothian Succession]], with [[Lord Ironfist]] neglecting to conquer them, but were united and brought under [[Archibald]]'s banner during his war against [[Roland]].
*Trackless Desert: An area south of [[Lord Slayer]]'s stronghold. Armies of Lord Ironfist crossed it to reach the Frozen Wastes and take Castle Slayer. Located in or near the Frozen Highlands.

== Locations ==
* Castle Stone: Located in the village of Hargraeve on the Highlands' southern outskirts. Residence of baron Anthony Stone, High Priest of [[Enroth (nation)|Enroth]] and head of the kingdom's [[Thieves' Guild]].
* Castle Stromgard: Located in White Cap. Residence of Eric von Stromgard, Marquise of the Northern Marches, ruler of the Frozen Highlands.
* Icewind Keep: Originally used to keep creatures from escaping the Frozen Wastelands. Lord Stromgard's residence before it fell to [[ogre|ogres]] in the early-to-mid 1160s [[AS]].
* Lair of the Dragon Riders
* Shadow Guild
* [[Agar]]'s Laboratory: In the southwestern reaches of the Highlands, north of [[Kriegspire]].
