The Lighthouse is a building and an [[adventure map]] object which increases all ones heroes' movement speed using boats by +500 movement points.

The effect is cumulative (meaning that owning two Lighthouses increases all heroes' movement points by a total of +1000 on water, and so on)

[[Navigation]] secondary skill does not affect this bonus.

Lighthouse can only be built in Castles with access to water, meaning that adjacent to the garrison tile must be at least one tile of water.

Lighthouses on the adventure map can be located on dry land or directly on water. They count as [[mine]]s, which can be important if the [[Victory conditions|special victory condition]] is "flag all mines".
