Advisor to {{Hn|Kastore|0=}} and chief warlord of the [[goblin|goblins]] and [[orc|orcs]] who remained in [[Deyja]]. He is left in charge of [[Deyja]] while [[Kastore]] is off usurping [[Terra Nova]]. When {{Hn|Dargem|0=}} comes looking for information on the whereabouts of the {{An|Horn of the Abyss}}, Maximus attempts to defend [[Doom Castle]] from him, but fails.

Derogatorily referred to as '''Cactusis''' by [[Dargem]].

* This Maximus is the Maximus who hails from Terra ({{mm7}}), not from Enroth ({{homm2}}); his design was inspired by a mixture of elements from both characters.
