Efreeti are among the game's most dangerous creatures. Whereas they can be [[slowed]] to be targeted by [[Ranged attackers]], they are formidable offensive units. Being able to fly at a relatively high speed, in addition to the devastating fire shield and immunity to [[Blind]] makes these some of the most formidable 6th level creatures in Heroes III.

i promised to use my reading skills more often and look what did it do to me.

efreeti/efreet spelling seems to be the peculiar/interesting/wild DnD tradition:

i traced the source back to 1993 [https://en.calameo.com/read/000000019bbda177554aa DnD Monster Manual], which is more than enough for us.

all the in-game spelling seems to follow this rule (mostly).
