While a stack of Wraiths is on the battlefield, they will drain 2 [[spell points]] per round from the enemy hero. The effect applies per Wraith stack; for example, 7 stacks of Wraiths will drain 2 spell points each, resulting in 14 spell points drained per round so long as all stacks remain alive.

The Wraiths are good to be given to a secondary hero, since their speed is the highest amongst the Necropolis units that will probably not end up in the main army, at least not as a main troop, but just to steal mana, block shooters and get rid of low-level enemy stacks. 

Wights are the game's slowest flying unit (speed 5), and Wraiths are the slowest upgraded flying unit (speed 7).
