== Discussion ==
Typically, it is better to sacrifice a troop with a greater number of cretures than a troop with the same total health but fewer units. A sacrificed stack does not leave a carcase to be [[Resurrection|resurrected]] or [[Pit Fiend and Pit Lord#Special ability|summoned]] into Demons.

Sacrifice is a 5 level spell in the School of Fire Magic. The spell destroys (sacrifices) the target living troop in order to resurrect creatures of another stack back to life. The other stack must be receptive to the Resurrection spell.
