They can be found on the adventure map and can also be built in Castle, Necropolis, Fortress, Conflux Armageddon's Blade, and Cove Horn of the Abyss. Shipyards on the adventure map can build boats when any of their three tiles are adjacent or diagonal to water. Towns can only build boats when the tile directly below the visiting tile is touching a water tile.
