[[Steadwick]] is the capital of [[Erathia]], located in [[Battlestead]] on the banks of the [[Teal River]]{{-wll}}. It is featured in the last map of the [[Dungeons and Devils]] campaign called [[Steadwick's Fall]], where the [[Inferno]] and [[Dungeon]] factions capture it, and in the [[Liberation]] campaign, where [[Erathia]] retakes it. It was ruled by the [[Gryphonheart]] dynasty. After the murder of [[King Nicolas Gryphonheart]], the city was temporarily governed by [[General Morgan Kendal]], who was unable to prevent the [[Nighon]] and [[Kreegan]] invasion from capturing the city and subsequently barricading themselves in it. After falling into the hands of the enemy, it was retaken by [[Catherine|Queen Catherine Ironfist]] and her [[Bracada]]n allies, but she could not stay to rule as war called her away. [[General Kendal]] governed the city in her stead.
