Does anyone have all the text strings the game has for picking up an artifact? You know, "While passing a lake, a beautiful woman emerges holding a treasure chest. Inside is the DRAGON FLAMETONGUE. After taking it, she disappears as quickly as she came." I was curious how many of those there are in the game and whether there are ones specific to particular artifacts or if they're all generic. In this case, everything depends on the map editor's artifact sequence (ARTSLOTS.TXT in H3bitmap.lod):
#Head
#Shoulders
#Neck
#Right Hand
#Left Hand
#Torso
#Right Ring, Left Ring
#Feet
#Misc 1-5
which means when an enemy has a necklace, boots, and a misc artifact equipped and you have only feet, misc or both slots free, you'll get none of these artifacts. With neck and feet free slots you'll get the necklace only.
