**** Precisely, since those with a unique portrait are the first "instance" of that hero and I think it should define them as a character. Both Complete Edition and HotA have these (General Kendal & Boyd being examples) and they also have many many instances of portraits being reused, which I think would clutter the first table of unique campaign heroes. **** I am thankful we're only doing the second type of hero if the player can control them/is allies with them... we would have an endless supply of custom enemy heroes otherwise, which I don't think ANYONE wants to know about, let alone sift through 100+ maps to catalogue! Organization
Trying to decide how best to tackle this page. --Legate (talk) 16:28, 8 February 2024 (UTC) My current thoughts:
- Split this into 3 large tables: 1) Standard Heroes 2) Heroes available in Map Editor 3) Campaign Only Heroes.
- I saw you added a 4th table "Other Campaign Heroes". How does this differ from "Campaign Only Heroes?" --Legate (talk) 18:22, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
- I think it is just whether they have a unique portrait or not?
- Precisely, since those with a unique portrait are the first "instance" of that hero and I think it should define them as a character. Both Complete Edition and HotA have these (General Kendal & Boyd being examples) and they also have many many instances of portraits being reused, which I think would clutter the first table of unique campaign heroes.
