HOTA Toggles

I've removed the onlyhota tag from the HOTA town hero tables as they would be hidden on town and hero class pages when HOTA is disabled, which confused some users who didn't realise they had HOTA content disabled. The swh template doesn't work to display/hide these tables and neither does adding a table row with the onlyhota class attached to it... any other ideas on how to hide the HOTA hero tables from this list that won't result in them being hidden on town and hero class pages? Once this is figured out, we can update the creature tables with the fix as well, as they are also hidden on town pages right now. 18:27, 3 January 2026 (UTC)

Ultimately I think the proper way to fix would be to have the ability to override the hota/dor disable status on certain pages; which would be set through the {{inhota}}/{{indor}} templates. It would probably involve setting up some JavaScript thing. I don't understand enough of how the whole content switching thing works under-the-hood to be sure if that's even possible. But for the moment I have a workaround. I must admit, I do kind of dislike how TownNew does everything on the town maps; that makes it a bit harder to address such issues.
