The dwarves who turned away from the light to follow the Path of Darkness. Featured in Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer, The Shadow of Death and Horn of the Abyss. Less numerous than the like-minded dark elves. The dark dwarves of Jadame emigrated there from Antagarich to escape persecution by the dwarves of Stone City. Dark dwarves are notorious marauders, burrowing up from the earth in search of wealth, food, and slaves. Jadameans liken them to a plague.
