'''NOTE:''' Both the Dreadnought and Couatl are set to be 7th tier units. Both dwellings may be built in the same town and both units may be recruited. They will NOT be alternative units like in Heroes of Might & Magic IV.

Only available when the unofficial expansion, Day of Reckoning, is installed.

Palace is a good alignment town with the Jarl and Oracle hero classes. Palace represents Vori.

Palace's native terrain is snow.

Heroes

Necromancy Necromancy, are not available for Oracles.

Creatures

  • Tier 1a: Nisse –> Tomte (Nisse are household/farmyard creatures from Nordic folklore. They boast average stats, but are relatively quick. Tomte are great astrologers and astronomers, and craft telescopes. They can Stargaze, which influences one's fate.)
  • Tier 1b: Viking –> Einheri (Vikings are classic warriors of the north who have finally found a faction to reside in. They are the tankiest yet slowest level 1 creatures. They are alternatives to Nisse that can be chosen before the game, but also built alternatively in new towns without a level 1 dwelling. Einheri are warriors who have proven their worth and loyalty in battle. They are easier Reincarnate as well as being stronger than their unungraded counterpart.)
  • Tier 2: Ice Maiden –> Yuki Onna (Ice Maidens are elemental spirits in servitude to Vori. They hate Gogs. Yuki Onna, Japanese for "Snow Woman", gains increased attack, [[speed], and shots, as well as the Frost Burn ability which deals additional damage when the target enemy is surrounded.)
  • Tier 3: White Tiger –> Sabertooth (White Tigers are sentient beasts that are allied with Vori. They have a preemptive melee retaliation ability, similar to the Bounty Hunter. Sabertooths preemptively retaliate as well as their normal retaliation.)
  • Tier 4: Snow Elf –> High Elf (Snow Elves are mysterious isolationist ancestors of the AvLee Wood Elves. They have a ranged retaliation ability. High Elves gain a bonus to their health, speed, and defense, as well as retaliating first at range.)
  • Tier 5: Unknown
  • Tier 6: Unknown
  • Tier 7: Unknown

Ammo Cart is Factory's war machine.

Town names

Unless specified by the mapmaker, towns will generate with a random name. Factory towns will use one of these following names:

Name_1 Name_2 Name_3 Name_4
Name_5 Name_6 Name_7 Name_8
Name_9 Name_10 Name_11 Name_12
Name_13 Name_14 Name_15 Name_16

If there are more Palace towns on the map than possible names, they will use names taken from other towns.

Some may find the information in this section subjective or irrelevant.

  • According to Kastore, Factory will be transitioning into good alignment and there will be a new evil-aligned faction added at some point.

Pros:

  • Despite its expensiveness Factory can choose one unit line-up and develop it quite quickly.

Cons:

  • Factory is an expensive town. To have both unit line-ups a lot of resources is needed (70 Crystals just for the lvl 7 creature dwellings and their upgrades). On top of that, it has among the highest ore spending on all buildings, and the highest army cost (even when comparing 7 vs 7 units, and not including the level 3 Bellwether Armadillos).
