Illegitimate son of King Nicolas Gryphonheart. Brother of WaerjakWaerjakWaerjakWaerjak Waerjak and Gauldoth Half-Dead. Leader of a portion of the Erathian forces against KilgorKilgorKilgorKilgor Kilgor. Due to Ravenwood's help, he escaped The Reckoning to Axeoth. In Heroes of Might and Magic IV, he becomes the king of the Iranese.

Lysander was one of the first leaders to have success against Kilgor, driving him out of Avauntnell and Minewell. Lysander continued the fight against Kilgor into Tatalia, but was unsuccessful in driving him out.
