Gurnisson the Barbarian
Basic information:
Gurnisson Class: Barbarian
Gender: Male
Race: Goblin
It is unusual for a Goblin to rise to any sort of position of power, but Gurnisson demonstrated a natural aptitude in Ballistics that quite literally launched him into a successful career as a hero for hire.
Specialty: Ballista
Specialty Ballista Increases the Attack and Defense skills of Ballista by 5% for every 5 levels (rounded up).
Starting primary skills:
Attack 4 Defense 0 Spell Power 1 Knowledge 1
Starting secondary skills:
Basic Offense  Basic Offense
Basic Artillery  Basic Artillery

Gurnisson the Barbarian is a Stronghold hero.

It is interesting that Ballistics secondary skill does not buff Ballista. The latter works better via Artillery, which explains why that is Gurnisson's starting skill instead of Ballistics (even though his skill with the Ballista is referred to as "Ballistics", not "Artillery").

Some may find the information in this section subjective or irrelevant.

As Ballista's base damage scales with hero's Attack skill, Gurnisson is the best hero who starts with Ballista, making him very valuable on especially poor maps.
