You've found an ancient and weathered stone idol. It is supposed to grant luck or happiness to visitors, but since the stars are already shining upon you, it does nothing.

Idol of Fortune is an adventure map location, that gives a visiting hero bonus to his morale and/or luck until next combat. The idol gives +1 to morale on even days and +1 to luck on odd days. On day seven, it gives +1 to both.
