Lost Lore Lost Lore[edit | hide]

Orrin was the commander of Steadwick's archery yards, and present at a council that General Morgan Kendal held in Castle Gryphonheart during the early days of spring in 1165 AS.

Heroes of Might and Magic IV

Orrin survived The Reckoning and appeared as a Knight on Axeoth.

[[File: Hero {{{image2}}} (Heroes IV).png]] "Orrin is a veteran of the former Erathian army, where he specialized in commanding sieges. He's an endlessly patient man who keeps in mind the lives of his troops first when he makes a combat decision. "Never waste a life needlessly," he often says. "And never act before you're ready!" — Biography

Trivia[edit | hide]

In an early build of the game, Orrin was named Gier. An apparently separate character by that name still appears in Homecoming as an imprisoned knight hero, referred to as Gier in a tavern rumor. However, due to the aforementioned change mid-development, he is represented by Orrin in-game. The name Gier was repurposed as one of the default seer names.

Exceptionally good for any town that has a half decent archer unit. First priority as main hero for Tower.

Orrin is also good when using multiple ranged units from different towns. Master gremlins, marksmen, orc chieftains, magi... When using units from multiple towns, morale is not a problem, because Orrin has leadership. However, for mostly ranged army, offense is nearly useless, while armorer can be very handy.
