"No indication" is weird, given that she, well, has the same name. And in the context of many other heroes who return in H4 not just as namesakes.

* A vampiric hero in homm4 shares Luna's name, but there is no indication that they are meant to be the same person. Heroes VI also has a vampire Luna, but she used to be an elf instead of a human.
* Some fans theorize that Luna on Axeoth may be a namesake, due to her looking quite different from her homm3 portait. However, this is not confirmed, and Luna's portraits in all of the first three Heroes games also feature different takes on her appearance, which fits with her being a sorceress. Numerous other heroes return in Heroes IV from the previous installment. Moreover, one might argue that the vampiric Luna's portrait looks similar to Luna's portrait in Heroes II.
* Due to all of the above, this page goes with Luna being the same until proven otherwise.
* Enrothian Luna was created as a reference to Luna the Druid from the world of Xeen, who appears in Might and Magic V: Darkside of Xeen.
* Heroes VI also has a vampire Luna, a reference to the previous two characters with this name. She used to be an elf instead of a human.

Heroes of Might and Magic IV

Luna survived The Reckoning and appeared as a hero on Axeoth.

"It's needless to speculate whether Luna was insane before or after she became a vampire. She doesn't even know. But her madness is her strength since few are as unpredictable as Luna in battle. Unfortunately, this means she can't be trusted entirely either." --Biography

Trivia

 • Some fans theorize that Luna on Axeoth may be a namesake, due to her looking quite different from her Heroes of Might and Magic III portait.
 • Due to all of the above, this page goes with Luna being the same until proven otherwise.
 • Enrothian Luna was created as a reference to Luna the Druid from the world of Xeen, who appears in Might and Magic V: Darkside of Xeen.
 • Heroes VI also has a vampire Luna, a reference to the previous two characters with this name. She used to be an elf instead of a human.
