It enables allied troops to retaliate extra times. The effect becomes a mass spell at expert level.
Bug: There is a bug with Counterstrike, so even if it is dispelled, it will still work for the current round.
Creatures immune to Counterstrike:
Royal Griffin (Counterstrike can be cast on Royal Griffins, but it's a waste, since they already have unlimited retaliations.)
Fangarm (Counterstrike can be cast on Fangarms, but it's a waste, since they already have unlimited retaliations.)
Creatures capable of casting Counterstrike:
Master Genies (advanced level)

Most effectively cast on strong troops like Vampire Lords or those that strike all around, or massively numbered troops like Halberdiers.
