Also referred to as "Gen. Kendal" or "General Morgan Kendal".
General Kendal is a campaign exclusive hero and is not playable in custom made maps. However, his portrait is available in map editor and can be chosen if a custom hero is created on the map. The portrait works fine with using only Restoration of Erathia version of the game, but in Armageddon's Blade and The Shadow of Death, General Kendal's portrait is named differently. This causes Thunar's portrait to show up instead of General Kendal's (fixed in Horn of the Abyss
).
Story
General of the Royal Erathian Military Command. Member of the Talon Brigade. Intermittent regent of Erathia. Foster father of Gelu.
General Morgan Kendal became the regent of Erathia upon the assassination of King Gryphonheart. During the fall of Steadwick, he was captured and imprisoned. Upon being freed by Catherine during its liberation, he pledged his loyalty to her as his Queen. He served Catherine for the remainder of the Restoration Wars and then also during the events of Armageddon's Blade (campaign).
When Catherine lost support of the Erathian people during To Kill A Hero, she abdicated and named General Kendal as Erathia's regent once again and tasked him with finding a new permanent leader for the country.
Lost Lore
General Kendal is the narrator for a legendary account of the events leading up to The Reckoning.
