It permanently reanimates killed undead, allied units. Necromancers Thant and Finneas specializes in this spell.
Comments & debate
This is resurrection for the undead, and therefore one of the most powerful spells when playing with necropolis. Of course, the spell is useless if you do not have undead troops in your army.
Unlike the Resurrection spell, Animate Dead resurrects troops permanently even if the hero who casts it doesn't have advanced or expert earth magic.
