Murdoch is a sub-optimal choice for a starting hero for the same reasons [[Orrin]] isn't a preferred choice of a starting hero. Heroes with specialties in level 1 and 2 creatures (such as [[Henrietta]] or [[Sam]]) are preferable due to having a better starting army, facilitating the use of a single powerstack. However, at level 7, with Expert Archery, Murdoch's stack of halflings begins to outperform [[Henrietta|Henrietta's]] starting powerstack.

A Bounty HunterBounty Hunter Bounty Hunter employed by KastoreKastoreKastoreKastore Kastore once he took control of Terra Nova. According to a local child, Murdoch is "the best marksman in the Ravage Roaming" and "can hit an enemy’s heart square from a mile away!"

Murdoch is a sub-optimal choice for a starting hero for the same reasons Orrin isn't a preferred choice of a starting hero. Heroes with specialties in level 1 and 2 creatures (such as Henrietta or Sam) are preferable due to having a better starting army, facilitating the use of a single powerstack. However, at level 7, with Expert Archery, Murdoch's stack of halflings begins to outperform Henrietta's starting powerstack.
