Scholar
Basic Scholar: allows heroes to teach each other 1st and 2nd level spells, effectively trading spells between spell books.
Advanced Scholar: allows heroes to teach each other any spell up to 3rd level, effectively trading spells between spell books.
Expert Scholar: allows heroes to teach each other any spell up to 4th level, effectively trading spells between spell books.

Scholar is a secondary skill that allows hero to trade spells with other heroes between spell books. Fifth level spells cannot be traded between spell books, other spells can be traded provided that one of the heroes have sufficient level of Scholar skill. As Scholar is strongly linked to spells, it is vital for the hero with Scholar to also have Wisdom.

Heroes with Scholar as a starting skill::

Note that Thane starts with advanced Scholar while others start with basic level.
