This artifact only slightly reduces the [[spell power]] of an opposing enemy hero, instead of granting Resistance ([[Resistance]] also works against neutral creatures).
As of HotA version 1.7.2 this artifact confers magic resistance as stated, regardless of the fact [[Resistance]] as a secondary skill is banned by default and largely replaced with [[Interference]].
 
Previous versions of HotA changed the effect of this artifact to an interference-like effect, but this change was reverted.

A Nomad trader seeks protection from a tribe of Goblins. For your assistance, he gives you a finely crafted pair of boots made from the softest leather. Looking closely, you see fascinating ancient carvings engraved on the leather.

Boots of Polarity is a Relic class artifact equipped in the Feet slot. When equipped, the boots increase hero's magic resistance skill by 15%. It should be noted, that boots increase magic resistance whether or not the hero has the resistance secondary skill.

You cannot purchase relic artifacts in Artifact Merchants.
